How long have you worked at Examity?
Since January of 2020.

What work do you do here, and why do you find it gratifying?
I’m part of the higher education sales team. I really enjoy working with current and new clients to understand their overall goals, objectives, and how Examity can help them succeed. We do a great job here of establishing a true partnership with every client we work with, regardless of size.

Why do you love working with your colleagues?
Everyone here is always so positive and willing to lend a helping hand.

What was the biggest unexpected challenge you faced when first starting with Examity?
The biggest challenge was that online proctoring was entirely new to me, so there was a lot to learn in the beginning. I had higher education sales experience from prior roles, but no history with the proctoring industry specifically. Further, six weeks after I started at Examity, the pandemic hit! Thankfully, everyone from sales leadership, to our marketing, product, and account management teams were super supportive and available even in a fully-remote environment.

What advice do you have for prospective Examity employees?
Always ask questions and don’t be afraid to provide feedback when asked for it! It’s refreshing to be part of a collaborative environment where folks are always willing to help. The leadership team really values the employee perspective and they continuously work to make Examity a great place to be.

Fun fact your colleagues might not know about you.
I played baseball in college and got into coaching after graduation. Since then, I’ve managed teams (ranging from ages 10-16) that have attended local and national tournaments in 16 different states, plus Canada!

When I’m not at Examity, I’m probably ___.
…spending time with my fiancée and our dog Kody, who is an Alaskan Klee Kai. Otherwise, you can find me taking a spin class, coaching, or on the golf course with friends.
