Position Overview
The Senior Product Manager Examity will play a crucial role in shaping our product vision and roadmap. We are looking for a talented, hands-on product leader to help scale and grow our organization.

 

Essential Duties

  • Develop a deep understanding of users’ workflows and needs, our competition, and business objectives to drive strategy, roadmap, and user stories.
  • Refine the product vision, broadly soliciting input from internal and external resources.
  • Become a subject matter expert in our market. This includes understanding opportunities, ecosystem, and competition by engaging with customers.
  • Document and prioritize requirements to drive product development. Advocate for customer needs clearly and compellingly to the rest of the product team.
  • Collaborate with our engineering, UX, and operations teams to establish release goals and develop high-impact products and functionality that delight our customers.
  • Communicate product plans across the organization to ensure understanding, gain alignment, and provide support to the business.
  • Support the rollout, enablement, and adoption of our solutions to ensure market success.
  • Create the go‐to‐market plan, including customer and industry focus, sales strategy, pricing, and success metrics.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and account management to deliver product briefs, train the team on new product features and capabilities, and participate in pre-sale activities.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate product success and inform future iterations of the product vision.

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience with 3+ years in a Saas environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with demonstrated ability to groom, prioritize and deliver value to customers on an ongoing basis.
  • Be creative, curious and maintain an entrepreneurial spirit. Ability to quickly assess issues, solve problems, and establish new approaches to meeting customer and market needs.
  • Remain enthusiastic, collaborative, and resilient. Must be determined to see initiatives through to completion, focusing on driving teamwork to achieve goals.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, including sharing ideas effectively across audiences and media.
  • Experience in the fundamentals of product management, including common product management frameworks and concepts: Agile, Scrum, lean, MVP, user story, backlog, etc.
  • Highly organized and able to develop, manage, and communicate status of activities across teams and projects.
  • Able to work cross-functionality to bring new products and capabilities to market. Comfortable with influencing without authority.
  • Familiarity with video streaming, AI video analysis, or identity management products is highly desirable.
  • Experience in EdTech and/or an understanding of LMS integration is a plus.
  • Knowledge of WGAC accessibility compliance and implementation is a plus

Position Overview
The Senior Scrum Master at Examity will guide, coach and mentor no more than two to three Agile teams toward achieving their objectives in delivering software to our customers. This Senior Scrum Master role will be leader for a number of distributed engineering teams.   • Foster trust and collaboration across all team members; creating a safe space to challenge, experiment, and fail.
  • Support the product owner to ensure the Agile artifacts used by the team are healthy.
  • Guide teams towards high performance and promote continuous improvement for all functions.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and foster cross-team communication.
  • Protect team from external interruptions to execution.
  • Coach the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and utilizing effective communication both internally and externally.
  • Showcase using Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
  • Assess the Scrum maturity of the team and organization, coaching the team to higher levels at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
  • Facilitate team-level Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and iteration planning.
  • Recognize conflict and facilitate resolution through collaboration and consensus.
  • Enable the measuring, analysis, and reporting of Agile team metrics.

 

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in an Agile organization delivering SaaS-based products.
  • Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Be a Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  • Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies and ideally other disciplines (i.e. Lean, XP practices).
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experience in a distributed environment with team members on-shore and off-shore.
  • Ability to facilitate various approaches to typical Agile work (story sizing approaches, different retrospective techniques, etc.).
  • Skills at instructing, coaching, and mentoring for improved performance and employee development.
  • Background in the creation and/or delivery of Agile product and project presentations.

Position Overview
The Senior UX Designer will be a member of the UX team, reporting directly to the Director, User Experience and will work closely with product management and engineering teams to bring concepts to life.

Essential Duties

  • Work cross-functionally with Agile teams to create engaging, easy-to-use design solutions that address complex business and user needs.
  • Participate in discovery activities, including user research, personas, experience mapping and flow charting to inform product direction and design decisions.
  • Create detailed wireframes and mockups that effectively communicate design and product requirements.

The Senior Software Engineer II is responsible for working with all elements of our solution, including the front and back end, to enhance, optimize and expand Examity’s proctoring solution.

 

Essential Duties

  • Design and build advanced cloud applications, employing the Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Build, test, and deploy innovative customer-facing products, encompassing a highly intuitive user experience.
  • Teach proper engineering discipline and practices, particularly using Python, Go, and C#, while serving as a role model.
  • Contribute to an Agile team that solves complex challenges and builds quality software on a regular basis.
  • Deliver high-quality projects and products on a tight schedule.
  • Ensure the quality of the products by conducting design and coding reviews of assignments distributed across multiple developers.
  • Evaluate new technologies and third-party products to include in Examity offerings and improve systems engineering capabilities.
  • Create an accessible site that allows for solutions to be adaptable in multiple delivery platforms.
  • Perform software verification of applications to ensure adherence to business and technical and functional and non-functional requirements.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 7+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in Python/Go and JavaScript.
  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript libraries: specifically, Angular (8+), TypeScript, PrimeNG, and NodeJS, along with GitHub development tools.
  • Background in developing and deploying SaaS applications and services into production using CI/CD tools.
  • Experience in building micro-services, REST based APIs, CI/CD tools.
  • History of building scalable web applications in a variety of cloud implementations.
  • Proven success with JavaScript, MVC Frameworks, ASP.NET, SQL.
  • Exposure to networking solutions leveraging HTTP, and WebSocket.

Position Overview
Reporting to the VP of Professional Services, the Sales Engineer will assist the business development teams in a pre-sales role, helping to manage and close new business opportunities. In addition, this role will partner with the engineering team to convey requirements and technical options for clients and partners. Finally, the Sales Engineer will assist in educating Examity employees, partners, and new product users on our solution. 

 

Essential Duties

  • Administer pre-sales support for new and existing clients.
  • Work with sales and marketing to respond to technical RFI/RFP questions.
  • Aid in the creation of product training and documentation materials.
  • Contribute to the design of a cutting-edge edtech solution.
  • Articulate and demonstrate our learning validation and online proctoring solution, influence customer’s technical requirements, and position products relative to the competition.
  • Provide the implementation team with all necessary documentation for the successful completion of the project (including solution configurations and diagrams).
  • Maintain an in-depth level of technical and industry knowledge through ongoing training, seminars and certifications.

 

Requirements

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent four-year college technical degree.
  • 3+ years of experience as a sales engineer or systems engineering designer.
  • Ability to travel, as needed, to industry events, prospect and partner sites.
  • Proven track record of selling, building, and/or deploying technology solutions.
  • Outstanding follow-through, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and technical support skills.
  • Experience designing and presenting technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Working knowledge of vendor products and technologies in the education industry is preferred.

Position Overview
The Principal Software Engineer is responsible for working with all elements of our solution, including the front and back end, to enhance, optimize and expand Examity’s leading learning validation solution. This individual will work closely with product managers, UX, engineering, DevOps, and quality assurance teams both in-house and offshore.

 

Essential Duties

  • Design and build advanced cloud and mobile applications employing the Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Build, test, and deploy innovative customer-facing products encompassing a highly intuitive user experience.
  • Teach proper engineering discipline and practices, particularly using Python, while serving as a role model.
  • Contribute to an Agile team that solves complex challenges and builds quality software on a regular basis.

  • 10+ years of software experience with Python, AngularJS, C#, ASP.Net Core, or similar technologies.
  • Background in developing and deploying SaaS applications and services into production using CI/CD tools.
  • Experience in building micro-services, REST based APIs, CI/CD tools.
  • Proven record of team leadership.
  • Exposure to software architecture.
  • Experience building scalable web applications in a variety of cloud implementations.

Senior Data Warehouse Engineer (Newton, MA)

Position Overview
The Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data intelligence solutions around the Snowflake Data Warehouse. 

 

Essential Duties

  • Lead technical design and development activities to implement large-scale data solutions in Snowflake, supporting multiple use cases of reporting and analytics.
  • Capture business and technical requirements, performing analysis to implement solutions.
  • Work with wide range of stakeholders, demonstrating knowledge of the Snowflake ecosystem to clearly articulate the value proposition of cloud modernization and transformation.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related IT discipline; or possess equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with data warehousing methodologies, modelling techniques, and SQL.
  • At least 3 years of utilizing Snowflake, ELT concepts and tools, and creating master datasets. Experience with MDM tool is plus.
  • Exposure to migration, data cloud solutions, and the implementation of operational production solutions on Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud technologies, such as o AWS – S3, Glacier, EC2, Lambda, SQS, Redshift, Azure – Blob Storage, and SQL data warehouse.
  • Prior knowledge of handling semi-structured data (JSON, XML) using the VARIANT attribute in Snowflake.
  • Must have a solid understanding of architecting, designing and operationalization of large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake.
  • Experience developing ETL pipelines in and out of Snowflake using a combination of Python, C# or any other language.
  • Previous success in data re-clustering in Snowflake, with thorough understanding of how micro-partition works is a plus.
  • Experience in Snow-Pipe for handling streaming data is a plus.

    Position Overview
    The Senior Developer in Test is responsible to extend and maintain our automated test suite which includes coverage for front-end, API, and back-end jobs. This individual will work closely with product managers UX, engineering, DevOps, and quality assurance teams both in-house and offshore under an Agile process.

    • Develop automated test suites and testing methodologies to meet our needs with respect to performance, scalability and other goals.

    Position Overview
    Examity is looking for part-time online proctors to join our team (up to 30hrs per week). As an online proctor you will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the integrity of online learning. This position is remote and paid training will be provided. Both day and evening shifts are available. Next training class will tentatively commence on September 27th.

    • Hold a college degree in any discipline.
    • Experience taking online courses.
    • Possess reliable internet connection and own/have access to a personal computer.
    • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
    • Troubleshooting skills in both Windows and Mac systems.
    • Foundational knowledge of computer software, online applications, Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Access to a dedicated, quiet office area (enclosed room).
    • Customer service and/or tutoring experience is preferred.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas.

     

    Required hardware and internet bandwidth

    • Windows OS or Mac OS.
    • i5 processor or equivalent with minimum 8GB RAM.
    • Reliable high-speed Internet with minimum 20Mbps download/10Mbps upload (require proof of speeds and hardware).
    • High resolution 24inch monitor (x2 preferred).
