Full-Stack Developer Co-Op (Newton, MA)

The challenge:
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Full-Stack Developer Co-Op will work with all elements of our solution (front and back end) to enhance, optimize, and expand Examity’s online proctoring solution. This position will contribute to the creation of new features, products, and technology approaches.

What you’ll do:

  • Architect, design, write, and test code for our proctoring and authentication offerings.
  • Enhance and evolve our solutions by implementing new features, diagnosing issues, developing new products, and defining new technology approaches.
  • Work with product management on backlog creation.
  • Contribute to evolving best practices regarding CI/CD and DevOps.
  • Build integrations to third-party APIs, including video-hosting platforms and cloud-based machine learning models.

What we’re looking for:

  • Knowledge in C# and ASP.NET Core.
  • Experience in Object-Oriented Programming and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow. JS is a plus.
  • Understanding of computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Knowledge of front end technologies and/or frameworks.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and portal integrations.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript closures, AJAX, HTML, CSS, LESS, and Bootstrap.
  • Interest in building and maintaining large-scale, high-availability web applications with an active and growing user base.
  • Desire to design and implement RESTful web service APIs.
  • Distributed version control experience with GitHub or a similar system.
  • Curious and possesses skills for problem-solving, debugging, and innovating.

    Software Developer Engineer in Test Co-Op (Newton, MA)

This individual will analyze different functionalities to identify the applicable test scenarios, and then proceed to automate them, helping the team to increase the automated test suite.

      • Gain exposure to principles such as Version Control, CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and usage of tools like Jira, GitHub, Selenium, Pytest, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, among other tools.

      Software Developer Engineer in Test (Newton, MA)

        The challenge:
        The Senior Automation Engineer/Software Development Engineer in Test is responsible for extending and maintaining our automated test suite, which includes coverage for front-end, API, and backend jobs. This individual will work closely with product managers UX, engineering, DevOps, and quality assurance teams, both in-house and offshore, under an Agile process.

        We need to improve our code quality and delivery velocity over time as we move closer to CI/CD. Automated validation is key to achieving those objectives. This position is being created to continue to strengthen our QA function. We are looking for a strong engineer who will lay the foundation for areas that currently lack any automation, as well as build on top of existing automation.

        What you’ll do:

        • Develop automated test suites and methodologies to meet our needs for performance, scalability, and other goals.
        • Build, maintain, and enhance a highly functional automated pipeline and develop the reporting with detailed results and solutions.
        • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of SDETs and Quality Engineers.
        • Partner with a team working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
        • Work closely with developers and product managers to provide feedback on new features and functionality.
        • Analyze user stories and bugs to identify test scenarios.
        • Create, maintain, and execute automated test scenarios/cases.
        • Perform functional, application, and regression tests, to ensure the products meet design specifications.
        • Collaborate and expand the robustness of the automation framework.
        • Identify risks, issues, potential defects, and/or defects.

        What we’re looking for:

        • Solid knowledge of software QA/testing principles and policies.
        • 5+ years of QA automation using Selenium with Python.
        • Experience in technologies such as Pytest, TestNG, TestProject.
        • Having worked in SaaS product delivering in Agile/Scrum methodology.
        • Solid knowledge of Page Object framework.
        • Experience with code repositories; Git knowledge preferred.
        • Working knowledge of continuous integration/delivery (Jenkins, or related technologies).

        What we’re looking for:

        • 5+ years of product management experience with 3+ years in a SaaS environment.
        • Experience working with an Agile/Scrum environment with demonstrated ability to groom, prioritize, and deliver value to customers on an ongoing basis.
        • Experience in the fundamentals of product management, including common product management frameworks and concepts: Agile, Scrum, Lean, MVP, User Story, Backlog.

        Position Overview
        The Senior UX Designer will be a member of the UX team, reporting directly to the Director, User Experience and will work closely with product management and engineering teams to bring concepts to life.

        Essential Duties

        • Work cross-functionally with Agile teams to create engaging, easy-to-use design solutions that address complex business and user needs.
        • Participate in discovery activities, including user research, personas, experience mapping and flow charting to inform product direction and design decisions.
        • Create detailed wireframes and mockups that effectively communicate design and product requirements.
        • Participate in internal and external testing of prototypes for usability.

        Requirements

        • 5+ years of professional experience as a user experience or product designer.
        • Portfolio demonstrating a deep knowledge of design principles.
        • Experience delivering comprehensive end-to-end workflow solutions capturing complex business processes, preferably in SaaS-related products.
        • Experience designing in an Agile environment, including Scrum.
        • Solid grasp of user-centered design, research and testing methodologies.
        • Experience with HTML/CSS preferred.

        • Design and build advanced cloud applications, employing the Agile/Scrum Methodology.
        • Teach proper engineering discipline and practices, particularly using Python, Go, and C#, while serving as a role model.

        • Background in developing and deploying SaaS applications and services into production using CI/CD tools.
        • Experience in building micro-services, REST-based APIs, CI/CD tools.
        • History of building scalable web applications in a variety of cloud implementations.

        • Lead technical design and development activities to implement large-scale data solutions in Snowflake, supporting multiple use cases of reporting and analytics.

         What we’re looking for:

        Position Overview

        The Center Manager at Examity India leads multiple internal functional groups to ensure service delivery, per the requirements of Examity’s clients. This position gives the opportunity to play a key role in scaling an industry pioneer. 

        Essential Duties

        • Participate in planning activities to scale operational capacity with business needs.
        • Create and control quality assurance programs across the facility.
        • Oversee new employee training and onboarding.
        • Guide support leads and supervisors in improving the performance of their teams.
        • Coordinate with the human resources and corporate services teams to ensure employees adhere to company policies.
        • Develop financial models for planning and budgeting.
        • Engage with our accounting team payroll, AP/AR, and human resources.
        • Work with Examity’s proctoring team to deliver best-in-class online experiences and promote first-call resolution and timely response to test-taker inquiries.

        Requirements

        • 5-10 years relevant work experience.
        • Track record of managing larger operational centers functioning 24/7.
        • Strong analytical and communication skills.
        • A proven track record in business or project planning.
        • Demonstrated leadership skills in academics and profession.
        • History of data-driven decision making.
        • Experience of working in IT or ITES.
        • Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively.
        • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
        • Must be able to work in India, visa support will not be supported
